• Designed for pasture renovation and forage cropping without prior tillage. Can operate in tilled soils too.
• BioBlade® makes true inverted-T shaped seed slots continuously.
• BioBlade® self-closes the inverted-T shaped seed slots with following press wheels.
• BioBlade® soil slots are filled with high-humidity soil-air promoting high emergence rates.
Most seeds can germinate in high humidity soil-air alone without the need for visibly damp soil or rain. This fact has been scientifically proven and has won several science awards for its importance.
• BioBlade® can simultaneously sow “non-burn” fertilisers, with the seed and fertiliser mixed in the same slot.
• BioBlade® handles surface residues better than tine drills.
• BioBlade® is ideal for depth-sensitive species like clovers, plantains, fescue and chicory.
• The seeding depth of BioBlade® openers is adjustable in groups of three. The depth is controlled by separate gauge wheels.
